Elon University Scholarship Application

It takes two steps to apply for the Elon University Scholarship and to be accepted into the M.A. in Higher Education program.

First, depending on the student’s application documents, the MHE Admissions Committee will make a conditional admission decision to the program. Students will be invited to Preview Weekend after receiving conditional acceptance. Students who have been conditionally accepted will be notified of their scholarship amount by the week of January 24.

Second, students will attend Preview Weekend, when they will be interviewed for apprenticeship positions. Once a student has been offered and accepted an apprenticeship, he or she will be given final admission to the program. It’s important to note that choosing an apprenticeship is a collaborative process in which both the student and the apprenticeship host must choose each other.

As a result, participation in Preview Weekend does not guarantee a position as an apprentice. It will, however, take into account the scholarship selection criteria.

Closing Date

Before or on January 10, students must submit their application documents. After the deadline, applications will be reviewed based on space availability. Students who have been provisionally enrolled are then notified of the scholarship amount and invited to Preview Weekend, which takes place from January 24 to January 26. Every year, however, the deadline for students to commit to enrolling for the autumn semester is April 15.
