About the Türkiye Burslari

The Turkiye Burslari Scholarships, established in the year 2012, has garnered tremendous popularity within their early years of their formation. During the first year itself, the program has received approximate 4000 scholarship applications. As the years passed by, the program has noticed a significant growth of the candidates. What was once just 4000 scholarship applications in 2012, grew into a massive 130 thousand scholarship applications in 2018.

The scholarship program caters to successful candidates by providing them the financial needs and support to ensure that they have a smooth university education. However, that is not the only focus of the Turkiye Scholarships. The program also helps candidates by ensuring them a spot in their favorite universities as well as the program that they intend to pursue in – which makes the Turkiye Scholarship program a lot different from most existing scholarships.

The program also has high hopes that through this program, successful candidates not only grow within the academic spectrum, but they could also expand their horizons within the non-academic sector as well. With this in mind, the program doesn’t just provide the necessary university education, but they also highly encourage grantees to pursue social and cultural extra-curriculum activities while they still can in Turkey.

As of now, candidates of the Turkiye Scholarships come from a plethora of countries in different continents. The demographic mainly consists of academicians, researchers, and civil servants who dedicate their time and energy into improving the welfare of their respective home countries. Program Value

The Success Scholarships 2021 program in Turkey, part of the Turkiye Scholarships, provides a generous sum of money that will be used by candidates to pay for their academic degrees in Turkey. This partial funding is given out on a monthly basis. The amount of the funding itself also degrees based on the degree level the candidates are currently pursuing. The scholarship will only cover university fees for one academic year, throughout a period of 9 months where the students are currently taking up their university semesters.

For the sum of the scholarship itself, there are three main categories. First up, undergraduate students will receive a monthly stipend of ₺ 450. Secondly, graduate students will receive a monthly stipend of ₺ 600. And lastly, PhD students will receive a monthly stipend of ₺ 900. The program has high hopes that with this partial funding, scholarship grantees will have a lesser burden on having to pay their university or college tuition expenses.

Eligibility

Before anyone can apply for the Success Scholarships 2021 program in Turkey, candidates are required to fulfill this set of criteria in order to be considered eligible for the program. These criteria are extremely important and crucial to the selection procedure. Make sure that you meet these items before you can register for the scholarship program. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

• All future candidates must hold a foreign nationality. In the event of a candidate holding a dual citizenship, if one of their nationalities is from the Republic of Turkey, they are not allowed to sign up for the Success Scholarship Program.
• Exchange students are not eligible for the scholarship program.
• All candidates must have finished at least one academic year (2 semesters) in either their undergraduate, graduate or PhD degrees in Turkey.
• For undergraduate students, they must maintain a minimal GPA of 3.00 out of 4.
  • However, for undergraduate students who are pursuing in Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy, they are required to maintain at least a GPA of 2.50 out of 4.
• For PhD students, they must maintain a minimal GPA of 3.5 out of 4.
• Future candidates must not hold any Turkey Scholarships beforehand.
• Future candidates must also not be benefiting from other scholarships offered by any institution or organization.

Required Documents

When you apply for the Success Scholarships 2021 program in Turkey, you will be asked to provide several documents during the application procedure. These documents play a crucial role in determining whether you will be chosen for the scholarship or not. With that in mind, please make sure you have all of these documents ready, copied, verified by a legitimate institution, and scanned for safekeeping. • A student certificate complete with a signature and seal that is given from the registrar’s office after October, 2020.

These documents must be copied, verified through a legitimate institution, scanned, and then uploaded to the system in any of these following supported formats: pdf, jpeg, etc. If any of your documents do not meet those following criteria, you scholarship application will automatically be dismissed.

In addition, to maintain fairness in distributing the scholarships, the program will have a limited scholarship quota that will be given out to candidates based on country, university, department, and levels.
