About the Good Samaritan Scholarship

What is a Good Samaritan scholarship?

In general, it is a financial aid that the Good Samaritan Foundation gives annually to high school graduates, undergraduate and graduate students, and Good Samaritan employees to achieve their educational goals.

These scholarships are available to those majoring in health care at colleges or universities throughout the United States.

Meanwhile, Reverend Clyde J. Verheyden established the Good Samaritan Foundation in 1951. Since its inception, the Foundation’s primary goal has been to improve the pool of qualified healthcare professionals available for the public.
