Specifically, the program is open to U.S. citizen undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two-year or four-year college or university to participate in study and intern abroad programs worldwide. Thus, it is including the students of Bentley University.

3. The Bridging Scholarships
The Bridging Project offers scholarships to American undergraduate students participating in study-abroad programs in Japan. Interestingly, the scholarships through AATJ aims to help students study abroad in Japan for a semester or an academic year.
That being said, undergraduate students majoring in any field of study are eligible to apply for Bridging Scholarships. Most importantly, Japanese language study is not a prerequisite.

4. Boren Scholarships
Boren Scholarships are funded by the National Security Education Program (NSEP), which focuses on geographic areas, languages, and fields of study deemed critical to U.S. national security.
In fact, NSEP awards scholarships to American students for the study of world regions critical to U.S. interests including:
- Africa,
- Asia,
- Central & Eastern Europe,
- Eurasia,
- Latin America and the Caribbean, and
- The Middle East.

GO Overseas! Study Abroad Scholarships of $500 are available to students participating in study abroad programs all over the world. However, the scholarship is based on creativity and analytical thinking displayed through writing samples and/or video submissions.

The Ashley Soulé Conroy Foundation Scholarship awards $3,000 to undergraduate degree-seeking students on semester or year study abroad programs with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Besides, students must have demonstrated financial needs as determined by the FAFSA.

9. Explore the World Scholarship
Each year, HI USA awards Explore the World scholarships to recipients across the country. Generally, the award includes:
- A $2,000 travel stipend.
- Help to prepare for the recipients’ trips.
Yet, to qualify, applicants must:
- Be 18-30 years old,
- Have a demonstrated financial need,
- Be U.S. citizens or permanent residents,
- Reside or attend school in one of the 13 metropolitan areas where HI USA has a community presence, and
- Be planning an upcoming international trip that involves an educational and/or volunteer service component.

10. The Earle and Sloan Travel Fellowship

The Earle and Sloan Travel Fellowship Fund assists one Bentley student with financial need to participate in a short-term, GBE or Faculty-led International Course each year.
