Fintiba Scholarships: Program Overview
Since 2019, the Fintiba Scholarship has supported international students who turn their dream of coming to Germany into reality. Fintiba knows all too well that there are many obstacles along the way of international students to Germany and this annual scholarship is one way to make your journey easier.

Program Benefits
International students who apply for the Fintiba Scholarships could receive one of the following awards:
- 1st award: €3,000
- 5 separate awards: €600 each
- 1-year free health insurance in Germany for one person
For the monetary awards, there will be a one-time transfer of the respective total amount to the German current accounts of the recipients. To receive their awards, the recipients must be Fintiba customers and upload a valid visa in their Fintiba account.
Eligibility Requirements
In order to apply, you must meet the following criteria:
- Your main residence is or will be in Germany.
- You are a Fintiba customer.
- To qualify for the 1-year of free health insurance award, applicants must have health insurance with Fintiba.
How to Apply for Fintiba Scholarships
You can submit your application including your video answering the question: “What are you most looking forward to during your stay in Germany and how do you think your time here will help you reach your goals?” via the online application form that you can find on Fintiba’s official website.
In the meantime, follow the video requirements and guidelines below to qualify for Fintiba Scholarships:
- Have creative, catchy content that reflects your ideas in response to the question above
- Your video must contain only copyright-free content (music, images, etc.)
- It should be in English or German (or contain subtitles in English/German)
- Video length: 1:00 – 1:30 minutes
- Format: mp4
- file size: 500 MB
Closing Date
The application deadline is September 15th, 2021. Applicants are advised to submit their application and video before or by the deadline. Fintiba as the organizer and administrator of the program rejects late applications.
At the end of the application period, the selection committee will go through all applications in order to select the recipients of the Fintiba Scholarships. In fact, the selection committee is made up of Fintiba representatives. After the final decision has been made, the recipients will be informed via email.
