Eligibility Applicant must:

–    Hold nationality in a country outside the EU/EEA and meet the requirements for obtaining an entry visa and residence permit for the Netherlands;

–    Have applied for admission to a full-time Master’s program at Maastricht University. See the full list of the Master’s program participating in this scholarship program;

–    Meet the specific admission requirements of the UM Master’s program to which has been applied for;

–    Have never participated in a degree-seeking higher education program in the Netherlands. Students who have completed exchange programs in the Netherlands are welcome to apply;

–    Be no older than 35 years of age

–    Have obtained excellent results during the prior education programs, as demonstrated by the applicant’s latest grade transcript or certified by academic excellence

4. University of Cambridge – Gates Cambridge Scholarship

Amount Core components:

–    The University Composition Fee at the appropriate rate

–    A maintenance allowance for a single student (₤17,500 for 12 months; pro rata for courses shorter than 12 months)

–    One economy single airfare at both the beginning and end of the courses

Discretionary components:

5. The University of Adelaide – Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI)

–    Annual living allowance ($27,596)

–    Student visa (Subclass 500) for visa holders. The award provides compulsory standard Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) Worldcare policy for the student and their spouse and dependents (if any) for the standard duration of the student visa

Eligibility –    Successfully completed at least the equivalent of an Australian First Class Honors degree. All qualifying programs of study must be successfully completed.

–    International applicants must not hold a research qualification regarded by the University of Adelaide to be equivalent to an Australian Research Doctorate degree or, if undertaking a Research Master’s degree, not hold a research qualification regarded by the University of Adelaide to be equivalent to or higher than an Australian Research Master’s degree

–    Citizens and Permanent Residents of Australia, and citizens of New Zealand are ineligible

–    Not undertaking research via remote candidature

–    Have not commenced the degree for which the applicant is seeking an award

–    Must commence study at the University of Adelaide in the semester the scholarship is offered

University of British Columbia – International Leader of Tomorrow Award

Study level Undergraduate
Amount Proportional to financial need (determined by totaling tuition, fees, and living costs, and subtracting the financial contribution the student and his/her family can make each year)
Eligibility –    Be an international student who will be studying in Canada on a Canadian study permit

–    Be entering UBC from a recognized secondary school, college, or other university

–    Be applying for the student’s first undergraduate degree

–    Meet UBC’s admission requirements, including general and degree-specific requirements and the English Language Admission Standard

–    Demonstrate superior academic achievement (achieve all As or equivalent standard)

–    Demonstrate a level of financial need that would otherwise prevent from pursuing a UBC degree

Criteria Demonstrate superior academic achievement, leadership skills, involvement in student affairs and community service, and recognized achievement in other key areas
Duration Throughout the whole period of study program. The award may be renewed for up to three additional years of undergraduate study or to degree completion – whichever comes first – provided the student achieve satisfactory academic standing in the faculty, continue to demonstrate financial need, and maintain the Canadian study permit (student visa)
