About Park Scholarship NC State

Park Scholarship NC State is a scholarship program launched in honor of Roy H. Park, NC State alumni, and founder of the Park Foundation. The Foundation focuses on education, media, and environmental developments. The scholarship program was successfully established for the first time in 1996, thanks to a generous donation from the Park Foundation.

The scholarship program aims to provide exceptional educational opportunities for well-prepared and exceptionally talented young people. They are individuals worthy of pursuing a college degree from an outstanding university such as NC State University, a powerhouse in science, technology, mathematics, and engineering.

Since its founding, the scholarship has graduated more than 20 generations of Park Scholars, building a vibrant alumni network. Based on the available funding, the Park Foundation awards around 40 scholarships each year. Freshmen from any education at NC State may be eligible for this award.

Additionally, the Park Scholarship NC State is renewable. The prize is claimable for a total of eight semesters at NC State. However, Park Scholars must meet eligibility requirements first to renew their claim.

On the other hand, you can complete a Park Scholarships Self-Endorsement Form if you apply for admission to NC State through the self-endorsement route. However, make sure that you fall into one of the following categories:

Closing Date

Make sure to submit all application materials by November 1 (for self-endorsed students) or October 15 (for school-endorsed students).
