Some students may think once they graduate from colleges after obtaining a bachelor degree, they would no longer have an opportunity to receive other scholarships. Even they including you may believe that scholarships for graduate students is less common than those for undergraduate students. But wait! Because in fact scholarships and grants won’t stop until you complete your study in graduate program. Moreover, there are many opportunities out there you can explore and grab to secure your educational expenses of graduate degree.
The truth is to obtain graduate degree is likely to be more costly than undergraduate degree, which such a fact will prompt many students in US to give much effort to find various ways to receive scholarships or grants. In US itself, graduate degrees in nursing and health for instance, will make students to pay more.
Yet, as mentioned earlier, there are many ways for students to be considered in receiving scholarships that pay their graduate program expenses well. At least, scholarships or awards offered will be able to reduce a little bit the burden, thereby encouraging them to complete their study effectively with good average grades. Like other scholarships previously elucidated, It is worthwhile mentioning that available scholarships for graduate students are sometimes awarded based on gender, minority community, federal states, etc.
In this regard, students can try College-based Awards that usually are provided for alumni who have willingness to assist in teaching or pursue research in a specific college or university. In the other hand, if you are interested tremendously in conducting only research, you can consider some research fellowships that will assist you financially as long as your research will benefit funding providers. In addition, you can also try several professional well-known organizations like National Political Science Honour Society Pi Sigma Alpha and the Emergency Nurses Association. Alternatively, you can contact numerous foundations that seem very concerned about the future of education in US such as North American Interfraternal Foundation, Jack Anson Fellowship, Lloyd G.Balfour Fellowships etc.
