Gujarat Scholarships are given by the Gujarat Government and its adjunct departments. Such grants are primarily targeted at students from deprived parts of society or economically backward. The Scheme of “Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship” for Girl Students belonging to the Minority Communities was earlier known as “Maulana Azad National Scholarship” Scheme.

OASIS scholarship is an online scheme launched for all types of underprivileged SC, ST and OBC students. It is a dedicated scholarship site for students from West Bengal. The Backward Classes Welfare Department, government of West Bengal, administers these scholarships for Indian students.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, also known as Bikash Bhavan Scholarship, is given to diligent and economically deprived students studying in West Bengal. This Scholarship was revised in 2016 and now comes up with a substantially higher number of seats and numerous awards.
This Scholarship is awarded by the Government of West Bengal in which the sum approved has been raised from Rs. 45 crores to Rs. 2,000 crores.
