About US Bank Student Scholarship

This program is run by the US Bank. US Bank Student Scholarship is a raffle program for undergraduate students in the United States.

US Bank awards successful candidates with scholarships to learn about significant finance-related topics, such as controlling student loans and creating a budget.

Apparently, winning the scholarship is fairly easy. All you need to do is complete the online lessons that the US Bank provides for a chance to win scholarships towards your education.

You can choose to either sign up to complete at least six or twelve lessons. The more you learn, the bigger the prizes you can win!

Plus, you don’t need to make any purchases to enter the sweepstake. This is completely free money that US Bank grants lucky winners, and it adds to another great thing about the US Bank Student Scholarship.

Program Benefits

By applying to this program, you will have the opportunity to enter a lucky draw with a scholarship prize of up to $10,000. However, the amount you can receive depends on the number of lessons you take.

If you register and complete at least six lessons, then you may be entitled to win up to $5,000. On the other hand, if you aim for a bigger reward, then you will need to complete at least 12 lessons.

In fact, the US Bank has prepared $20,000 as the total estimated value of all the prizes to be awarded. It will certainly be a big loss for you if you miss the opportunity to get an entry.

Eligibility Requirements

The US Bank Student Scholarship is only offered to legal residents of the fifty states and the District of Columbia who are at least 17 years of age or older. In addition, you must be enrolled as an undergraduate student for at least six credit hours per semester at the time of the sweepstakes at either a brick-and-mortar university or online college.

In other words, applicants who are not admitted to an accredited institution within the specified time, have insufficient credit hours, or otherwise do not meet the eligibility criteria will be disqualified from receiving a prize.

Also, you are not entitled to receive the prize if you were the winner of the previous sweepstake. If you are a legal minor or majority in your jurisdiction or residency, then you must receive consent from your parent or legal guardian to enter. You will be required to include documentation to prove it at the time of application.

Most importantly, employees, officers, directors of US Bank, their respective subsidiaries and affiliated companies, agents, advertising/promotion agencies, and the immediate family members or those living in their same household as any person in any of the preceding categories are not eligible to enter or win a prize.

How to Apply for a US Bank Student Scholarship

There are two ways to enter:

1. By Completing Various Learning Activities during the Promotion Period

Login at the website, access the links to, and complete various offered learning activities during the promotion period. You may select which modules to complete.

Modules may vary in length and may be completed once. The stated minimum number of modules is required for each drawing; in other words, if you complete 12 modules, you will be eligible for entry into the Grand Prize and First Prize drawings, but not the Grand Prize drawing (unless and until you have timely completed 12 modules).

Those who complete the following number of required modules will earn one entry into the applicable drawing. You may earn one entry per drawing, and up to two entries in total, as follows: Register and complete six modules for two First Prize drawings, or register and complete twelve modules for one Grand Prize drawing.

2. By Mailing a Separate Mail-In Request Without Completing the Modules

Once registered, you may enter without completing modules by mailing a separate mail-in request for each drawing to receive one entry per drawing.

To enter by mail, hand-print your full name, address (no PO boxes), contact phone, email address (used to register on the website), and the eligible US college or university at which you are or will be enrolled on a 3” x 5” card, and separately mail in a first-class sufficiently US stamped envelope.

Each stamped envelope must also be clearly marked with the drawing into which the mail-in entry shall be entered (i.e., “Grand Prize Drawing,” “First Prize Drawing,” etc.). Mail-in entries can be submitted to 2021 U.S. Bank “Fall Student Scholarship Sweepstakes,” PO Box 511172, New Berlin, WI 53151.

Each separately marked and mailed eligible mail-in request received represents one entry and will be assigned by the administrator into the respective drawing as indicated on the stamped envelope. Thus, entries without a drawing clearly indicated on the stamped envelope shall be considered incomplete, and invalid.

Limit one mail-in request per person/email per drawing, limit up to two mail-in requests.

Closing Date

Entries for the US Bank Student Scholarship open on August 1 and end on October 30 each year. US Bank, as the organizer of this program, rejects late and incomplete applications.

The same is true for mail-in requests. Make sure you have completed all the required requirements before or by the deadline.

Then, potential winners will be notified by phone and/or email on or about seven business days after the drawing, which is usually conducted on or about November.
