About Hamad Bin Khalifa University Scholarships 2026
HBKU provides generous financial support packages to eligible graduate students (Master’s and PhD). These include:

HBKU Financial Support Structure
HBKU has standardized tuition waivers and stipends across all programs for the 2025–2026 admission cycle. Awards are offered based on merit, academic performance, and availability of funds.
Tuition Waivers
Self-sponsored students receive discounted tuition based on financial need (2,000 QAR per credit hour). HBKU-sponsored students receive partial or full waivers depending on program type.

Stipend Conditions
To maintain stipend eligibility, students must:

Be enrolled full-time.

Serve as Research Assistants (RA) for 10 hours/week.

Work up to 20 total hours/week (including RA/TA duties).

Serve as Teaching Assistants (TA) for 10 hours/week at 50 QAR/hour (if assigned).

Avoid full-time jobs or part-time work beyond 40% of full-time hours.
Stipend exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis, depending on funding and academic performance.
