Besides, it welcomes students who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. The scholarship will be awarded through Beauty Changes Lives.

Beauty Changes Lives will award a total of $20,000 to four winners. The application requires the submission of an online form and proof of acceptance to an esthetics program. In addition, you must submit a maximum 3-minute YouTube video that answers esthetics-related questions.

2. Dr. Joseph and Sonya Landholm Scholarship

Amount of Award: Up to $4,500

This generous scholarship is presented by the Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA). Veterinarian students and practitioners who are interested in pursuing certification in acupuncture are encouraged to apply for this scholarship.

Dr. and Mrs. Landholm, long-time Nebraskans, are commemorated in the program’s name. Dr. Landholm, in particular, was a pioneer in the field of veterinary acupuncture in the Midwest and one of the first to be qualified in the field.

Veterinary students who were born and raised in Nebraska are eligible to apply, as long as they are members of the NVMA. The application form for the scholarship can be found on the NVMA’s official website.

3. ABFSE Undergraduate Scholarship

Closing Date: September 1st every year

Amount of Award: $1,500 – $2,500

Scholarships for students engaged in funeral service or mortuary science programs are provided by the American Board of Funeral Service Education (ABFSE) through its National Scholarship Program. The program has rewarded hundreds of students with life-changing scholarships.

Applicants are allowed to apply once per calendar year for inclusion in the scholarship program. A minimum of one semester of study in an ABSFE-accredited program in funeral service or mortuary science education is required for consideration for an award.

This scholarship is available to citizens of the U.S., U.S. permanent resident, international students (F1-Visa holders), and students in DACA program. Use the ABFSE website’s online application form to submit your application.

4. ASF Translation Awards

Closing Date: September 1st, 2022

Amount of Award: $2,000 – $2,500

The American-Scandinavian Foundation (ASF) annually awards three translation prizes for outstanding translations of poetry, fiction, drama, or literary prose written by a 20th or 21st-century Nordic author. The translation competition falls into three categories:

  1. The Leif and Inger Sjöberg Prize
  2. The Nadia Christensen Prize
  3. The Wigeland Prize

5. Beauty & Wellness Professionals Scholarship

Beauty Schools Directory offers a scholarship to students and professionals who are dedicated to improving the lives of others by promoting wellness and beauty. To be considered for the award, you must be currently enrolled in or applying to any of the following programs from an accredited school:

  • Cosmetology
  • Electrology, Laser Hair Removal, or Trichology
  • Esthetics
  • Hair Design or Hair Braiding

6. The Ambient Bamboo Floors Scholarship

Closing Date: September 1st every year

Amount of Award: $1,200

This merit-based scholarship award from Ambient Bamboo Floors is intended to assist a deserving student who has demonstrated an interest in environmental issues.

The scholarship application requires an essay on two topics on sustainability. Essays can be more than 2,000 words, but submissions that do not meet this word count minimum will not be considered.

In addition to being a U.S. resident, prospective applicants must currently be enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college for the current academic year. To apply, submit your essay along with your name, college/university, expected year of graduation, and intended major.

7. BELDON Scholarship Program

Amount of Award: $1,000

To support the next generation of industry leaders, BELDON will pick two deserving students each year to receive a significant scholarship. The home improvement company specifically launched a scholarship program to help kids who are committed to pursue a college education.

To considered for the scholarship, you must be seeking a degree in business, management, communications, marketing, or related field. A minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.00 scale is also required.

This scholarship is awarded to honor Bryce Thomson, the President of the National Ice Cream Retailers Association (NICRA) Board of Directors 1965. Bryce had a great hand in shaping the organization since then. The Bryce Thomson Scholarship will be awarded to applicants who are employees of member stores.

To be considered for this award, you must enroll at an accredited public or non-profit independent college or university in the U.S. The scholarship is open to all courses of study. The selection of winners will be based on financial need, academic excellence, and student essay.
