Does ASU give scholarships?

Yes! Each year ASU offers several different scholarships for its students, namely through the Financial Assistance Program and the New American University Scholarship which contains various scholarship groups in it.

What scholarships does ASU offer?

Currently, there are about six active scholarships that candidates can apply for. The ASU scholarships cover the following:

1. New American University Scholarship

Students who are deemed eligible to receive this scholarship will be entitled “New American University Scholars” by ASU, where generally the recipients are high achieving students who can meet the criteria assigned by the university, especially in areas of excellence. In the future, the scholars are expected to be able to overcome challenges and become agents of change in society and contribute actively in creating a better world for all.

This program is designed for undergraduate students with outstanding academic achievements. While studying at ASU, New American University Scholarship recipients will receive financial prizes and academic and research facilities that support their learning activities and help them to be more responsive in solving the most complex challenges faced by society today.

2. College & Departmental Scholarships

Apart from merit-based scholarships, students can also apply for a variety of scholarships that are specifically provided by ASU’s many colleges and academic departments. You can find them all here. Several ASU colleges or departments that offer specific scholarships include:

3. Baumgartner Law Firm Law Student Scholarship

This scholarship, sponsored by the Baumgartner Law Firm, offers scholarships to law students each year who need financial assistance. This scholarship is not only awarded specifically to ASU students but students enrolled in any Law School in the United States. The total scholarship offered is $3,000, and it is hoped that this assistance will promote a top-notch legal education for needy students. For more information, click here.

4. Preserving Our Future Scholarship

Live Bee Removal Tech as the sponsor of the “Preserving Our Future Scholarship” awards a grant of $1,000 to individuals with great vision, unmatched resolution, and most importantly, a sincere passion to improve our planet for a better. Live Bee Removal Tech requires other requirements for students who are interested in applying for this scholarship, namely candidates are required to compose an article with a minimum of 700 words which explains sequentially and neatly about the challenges we must face in the future to ensure the welfare of the global bee populations and the reasons why their survival is an important factor for a better future. 5. RealtyHop Scholarship

Undergraduates students and high school seniors who can meet all of the requirements imposed by RealtyHop are eligible to receive a scholarship of $2,000 per year to finance their bachelor’s degree program and/or associate degree program. Candidates who wish to apply for the RealtyHop Scholarship must be able to demonstrate their ambition, diligence, leadership, and entrepreneurial enthusiasm as some of the main requirements put forward. 6. RentHop Apartment Scholarship

RentHop Apartment Scholarship awards up to $2,000 per year to undergraduate and associate degree students who demonstrate their ambition, passion, leadership, and entrepreneurial passion. Apart from that, RentHop also emphasized that those who wish to apply for this scholarship must also send a paper with a length of fewer than five hundred words which densely answers the following questions:

“Covid-19 has drastically impacted the world and will continue to change how society views our home as a place of living, working, and studying. What was your most memorable experience during the 2020 pandemic, and how has it changed your education, career, and life plans?”

How to get scholarships for ASU?

ASU has a portal application called “ASU Scholarships” which lists a variety of scholarships currently active from a current database.

The ASU Scholarship Application Portal also doubles as a bridge between scholarship providers and prospective scholarship recipients to meet and exchange information. Candidates can easily apply for scholarships that they are interested in by uploading their documents to this portal, which is then forwarded by the university to the sponsor. This way, you can apply for a variety of different scholarships easily and comfortably without having to complete the required information multiple times.

What SAT score is required for ASU scholarships?

The SAT score required for each of the scholarships offered by ASU varies. You can check it directly on the portal we discussed above. However, you can refer to the information below about the SAT scores required for admission to ASU as a reference.

  • Requirements for in-state students: 1120 (minimum)
  • Requirements for out-of-state students: 1180 (minimum)
  • Average scores (all applicants): 1227

How to apply for ASU scholarships?
