Stipendium Hungarcium Scholarship Program
Stipendium Hungarcium Scholarships started in 2013 as an annual Scholarship program funded by the Hungarian government and it offers students all around the world to get a high-quality education at Hungarian University. In 2018/19 academic year, the scholarship has provided more than 4,100 scholarship program and 5,000 scholarship expected to be given in 2019/20 academic period by the Hungarian Government.
The Scholarship is given to international students who come from the countries that have bilateral cooperation education with the Hungarian government. The scholarship will grant the selected students from each country with a full exemption the tuition fee, monthly stipend, dormitory or housing fee, and medical insurance.
The eligibility and requirements
All international students from 70 countries that have bilateral cooperation in education with the Hungarian government, the student with Hungarian citizenship or Dual citizenship not eligible for the scholarship. The offered study program may vary for each partnered country see The list offered study program for each partnered countries. The scholarship partnered with 28 Hungarian Universities and offers 500 study programs, which 450 of them will be taught in English. See the list of the host universities and its contact.
The applicants can apply up to TWO study programs for the scholarship and you can start your preparation for basic documents needed to apply for the scholarship program;

Central European University (CEU)is a private graduate level University in Budapest, the university had accredited by the Hungarian education system and American education system. The University is ranked among the top University in the world in Politics and International Studies
The scholarship offered the tuition fee discount up to 100%, stipends, housing, and health insurance. The scholarship will not be awarded to Master programs from Economic and Business department. The scholarship offered for Master and Doctoral program at CEU Universities in which most offered study programs may apply for the scholarship.
The Eligibility and Requirements
The enrolled or to be enrolled students Master or Doctoral study program at Central European University. The recipient of the scholarship program may have a different amount of financial support based on academic merit and financial need for each student.
To apply for the scholarship program there is no separate application form, the applicants may submit their application by filling the “Funding section” on the online application form at the time of admission. CEU General Alumni Scholarships
CEU General Alumni Scholarships started in 2001 and has helped their 207 Junior that comes from around the world, the scholarship provided $ 2,000 per year to help the selected students cover their expenses in Budapest.
The Eligibility and Requirements
Enrolled at Central European University Master Program from any countries, having experience in community service and other volunteer services, has supported CEU recruitment, the career office, Alumni Office for at least 40 Hours during the academic year, commit to volunteer for CEU after graduation, the students with the most needs of financial support will be prioritized.
The applicants who meet all the requirements may apply, there will be 2 rounds application process where the first round the applicants will be required to submit their online application form and CV and the second rounds the participants asked to make 2-minutes Video explaining their motivation and experience they have meets the requirements for the scholarship program. Institutional Bilateral Mobility Scholarship Program at Eotvos Lorand University
Eotvos Lorand University had made 200 bilateral agreement with higher Institution from Asia, Europe, and America. The program will provide a tuition fee waiver for the nominee and other provided expenses depend on the agreements that made with the origin Institutions

The eligible applicants for Institutional Bilateral Mobility Scholarship Program are the selected nominee from the partnered Institution, to see which institution partnered with Eotvos Lorand University check the list partnered Universities here.
To apply the applicant must check whether their University is one of the partnered University then inquire about the procedure of the application to the International office at their origin Universities or Institutions, The selected nominee informs the Eotvos Lorand University using the following address: email@example.com
The accepted nominee will be informed through the coordinator International office at their current University/ Institution and will be given further instructions about the admission process, required documents, and deadline.
