The Online Study in Korea Fair is an event that the National Institute for International Education (NIIED) of the Ministry of Education promotes studying in Korea and provides information of university admissions to support globalization of universities in Korea by discovering and fostering international students.
About the Foundation
The Study in Korea began in 2001, has hosted in 219 cities in 38 countries with the aim of attracting 200,000 international students by 2023. In 2017, 59,000 local students participated in the Study in Korea Fair in 17 cities in 13 countries including Iran and Mexico. In 2019, the foundation was planning to host the Study in Korea Fair with excellent Korean universities in 19 cities in 16 countries in continents of Asia, Europe, and Americas.
About 2020 Online Study in Korea Fair
The Online Study in Korea Fair, which started in 2015, is an online education fair that promotes studying in Korea and offers online information of Korean universities in countries and regions where offline education fairs are not held. In 2018, 15,280 students from 110 countries participated the Fair and will be held in March, July and December 2020 as well.
Participating Universities
This year, Study in Korea Fair succeeded in working with 50 universities from all over South Korea to provide information while promoting each of these universities to global audiences. How to Join
- Visit the official website of Study in Korea Online Education Fair through the following link.
- Click the “Register” button. If you have registered as a member before, click on “Member Register”. However, if this is your first time, select the “Non-member Register” option. Apart from these two options, you can also connect through your social media accounts like Facebook and Google+.
- You will then be asked to fill out a registration form containing your personal identity, including: nationality, name, email address, gender, current level of education, and courses of interest. After completing the registration form, click the “Register” button.
- You have registered as a member of the exhibition and are welcome to visit the booths of each of the existing universities.
- The booths are divided into five categories based on the level of education provided by each participating university, namely Bachelor’s, Associate Degree, Korean Language Course, Doctorate, and Master’s. Click on one of these categories to sort universities according to the level of education you want.
- Click on the “Live Chat” icon to check more detailed information from the university of your interest.
Closing Date
Study in Korea Fair takes place since March 24, 2020 and will end on April 6. Register yourself immediately to take part in this free education exhibition. Gain as much benefit as possible to get the most complete information about each South Korean university participating in the program.
