The program is an initiative of KST, a leading test institute based in Islamabad.

About Kawish National Youth Empowerment Scholarship
The Kawish National Youth Empowerment Scholarship is an academic scholarship awarded to academically bright students, qualified but financially challenged students, and those who demonstrate hard work and determination. In fact, it is the largest full scholarship in Pakistan.
The scholarships are available to students at the following educational levels:
- Matric
- Intermediate
- Undergraduate
- Postgraduate
Basically, it’s free money that scholars don’t have to pay back. The Kawish National Youth Empowerment Scholarship provides meritorious students with the opportunity to further their studies in a wide range of fields.
Program Benefits
The Kawish National Youth Empowerment Scholarship has a value of one million Pakistani rupees and is awarded to deserving students. Additional expenses covered by the scholarship include board and lodging as well as textbooks and other academic-related items.
Kawish National Youth Empowerment Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
All applicants must be students residing in Sindh or Balochistan in order to be considered. Additionally, these students must come from low-income homes and be able to demonstrate financial need when requested.
Furthermore, Kawish National Youth Employment Scholarship is available to students at all levels of education, including matric, intermediate, undergraduate, and graduate levels, at all schools and institutions in Sindh and Balochistan.
Moreover, since the program is an academic scholarship, applicants are expected to have high academic standing while applying. So, the higher their grades, the greater the likelihood that they will be awarded the scholarship.
In addition to meeting the general requirements, candidates at each level of education must also pass a test to examine their academic performance. The following are details of the composition of questions and subjects that will be tested for each group of participants:
1. Matric / O Level
- English: 20%
- Islamiyat: 10%
- Pakistan Affairs: 10%
- General Knowledge: 20%
- Mathematics: 10%
- General Science: 15%
- Intelligence Quotient (IQ): 15%
2. Intermediate / A Level
- English: 20%
- Islamiyat: 10%
- Pakistan Affairs: 10%
- General Knowledge: 20%
- Current Affairs: 10%
- General Science: 15%
- Intelligence Quotient (IQ): 15%
3. Undergraduate Level
- English: 20%
- Islamiyat: 15%
- Pakistan Affairs: 15%
- General Knowledge: 15%
- Current Affairs: 10%
- General Science: 10%
- Intelligence Quotient (IQ): 15%
4. Graduate Level
- English: 25%
- Islamiyat: 10%

Please keep in mind that the test will consist of one hundred multiple-choice questions. Also, participants will only be able to take the test in KST branches in Sindh and Balochistan, not elsewhere.
Kawish National Youth Empowerment Scholarship Application
Undoubtedly, the application process of this scholarhsip program might be time-consuming and difficult to complete. However, we will provide you with a helpful tutorial to assist you in navigating your application with ease. Simply follow the instructions outlined below and you’ll be on your way.
Make sure you have what it takes to meet the requirements before submitting your application. You should then go to the KST official website and obtain the application form that corresponds to your current level of education. Once you’ve done that, fill out the form with accurate information that you can back up with supporting evidence.
Send your completed application to the operations manager at KTS, who will then review it in person. Please keep in mind that KTS will not accept applications that are delivered by hand. In order to submit the application, it must be sent via regular mail.
Then, KST will sort incoming applications in order to make an initial judgement based on the information supplied. Early stage applicants who fit the general criteria will be contacted by KST and invited to take the test at a later date.
Next, KST will contact successful test-takers to tell them of the results of the test using the phone number and email address that they provided on their registration form. However, the announcements are typically also publicly available through Pakistan’s big newspapers.
Closing Date
The deadline for submitting applications is December 20. Make sure to submit the application form together with all of the relevant documentation before the closing date. Submissions that are received late or that are incomplete will not be considered by the scholarship program’s Board of Committee.
